Certified translations, prices & quality standards

As a translator for the English language, appointed and sworn at the Augsburg District Court, I translate certificates, court documents and testimonials and certify the translation. Your translation will be delivered punctually and in the required file format.

Prices for translations are calculated by standard line (55 characters), which varies depending on the text type and its complexity. I can also quote prices calculated on a word-basis.

The security of your data and strict confidentiality of all documents and projects is guaranteed from the moment you request them.

Data transmission by electronic means is encrypted.

All translations are produced by me on the basis of the DIN EN 15038 and ISO 17100 (German and international industrial standards for translation services).

Text editing

Editing focuses on the readability and stylistic quality of a text – besides formal correctness.

One basic aim of editing is a formally flawless text. For this, spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes are corrected.

In addition to this, I make sure that the spelling is consistent. And I optimise the text stylistically as far as it is necessary.

The content of your text will not be changed!

The price for editing your text is calculated based on the time required and the text type.

Proofreading

During proofreading the spelling and punctuation are checked.

Since no attention is paid to the stylistic or content-related coherence of the text, proofreading is only suitable for well-formulated texts that are already coherent and stylistically flawless.

During proofreading, certain areas of focus can be set, e.g. on punctuation or citation styles.

In addition, it is possible to specifically include certain aspects of editing, such as consistency in the use of technical terms.

The price for proofreading your text depends on the actual time required and the type of text.

Every proofreading task has different requirements. Therefore, I will be happy to advise you and provide you with a tailor-made quote.
